Sweet Guitar (S)kills

Men are separated from boys in an acoustic setup...in this case the boy outshone the man though (no offence to the master though)

This is recognition enough for the guitar-sage of this era to have accompanied Clapton on guitar rather than vocals who has redefined guitar playing when I had given up on any new kind of sound in these times.

Many mistake Mayer for a choclate pop star, and I don't care for the rest, but true music lovers must listen to his live solo acoustic or even electric blues performances (check out crossroads with Clapton again on youtube)

Down the road (less travelled)

Well, ahem...had my first quasi-professional performance at Goa, "Down The Road", Pub & Bistro!!!!!!
Given my hectic schedule, had to restrict the song-list to only three songs
- Evenflow (Pearl Jam), with a little niggle that I completely forgot the song & lyrics after the first two lines, old age you see
- Knockin' on heavens door (G'n'R version), yeah 'coz it still is a coupla years before I become old enough for the Dylan version :)
- Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd) - Well, this was on popular demand (within my soul i.e.), messed a little bit on the high-pitch part, but in all the Van Morrison style suited the song better than I had thought

Crowd response stopped just short of a mass hysteria, especially amongst the ladies, they controlled themselves by only clapping i.e. and also the fact that about 20% of the population in the pub comprised of friends (Refer pic on top: The PAL, The ANT, The PUNK!!)

And as much as the monetary bit is concerned, it was that I paid for my drinks....
IT WAS A KAROKE NIGHT, hehehhehe
But it was fun nonetheless, as it always has been performing on stage in college days, hmmmm...Life keeps on calling (in short bursts), where the fcuk am I???

P.S : The date in the snaps are backdated for some reason
